Finally, our refurbishment project for 2024/25 has been completed and we would like to thank all of our Hall users for their patience during this time.
We started by creating a corridor to allow entry into the Jubilee, Heritage rooms and kitchen without disturbing anyone in the main hall. This was successfully completed by Tower Maintenance Limited based in Seaton Sluice. Lovely people to work with and nothing was a problem. The Corridor was followed by a new entrance ramp and electronic door, allowing easier access for all.
All of the rooms have had the floors professionally cleaned and finally the whole interior of the Hall has been painted which I’m sure you will agree is a great improvement. Everything is bright and refreshed. Our thanks to the photographer Colin Thompson for taking these great photos and also creating the colour palette for the Village Hall, we love it and lots of people have given very complimentary feedback already.
