Having run training classes in and around Newcastle the Dogs Trust wanted to expand into Northumberland and, after an extensive search, they have chosen the Memorial Hall in Longframlington. Hall Booking Secretary Geoff Osmond said:
“We are delighted to welcome Newcastle Dog School to the Memorial Hall. Their regular Wednesday booking will provide much needed income as well as providing a great service to our community”
Having taken references from other halls hosting the Dog School, as well as checking insurance arrangements, the Memorial Hall Management Trustees were more than happy to proceed. Simon Hadden, Chair of Trustees, added:
“You only have to be in Fram for a few minutes to realise what a dog friendly place this is. The dedicated dog walking field is a bit of a giveaway too”
The Dog School will be doing some local advertising before it opens on 2nd November. To quote from their website “We teach you and your dog the skills you both need to understand each other and have a happy life together”.
