The Easter Coffee & Chats attracted a particularly good turn out of villagers and new friends from further afield including Wooler. The extra stalls, including Bibi Bakers home made bread from Wooler and Fern & Forge, soon to be opening a cafe in Shilbottle did brisk business, as did a stall with jams and chutneys which raised £35.50 for the Great North Air Ambulance and the regular ever popular stall selling locally made scones and pies.
Some people called in for purchases and a quick cup of coffee while other spent the whole morning in conversation with friends and neighbours.
The next Coffee & Chats will be on Saturday 2nd May. Come along and join us then!
