A representative of Northern Powergrid Foundation visited the Hall recently to see for themselves how their £20,000 grant for Energy Resilience had been spent. They heard from the Trustees how the solar panels and back up batteries have already reduced the Hall's energy consumption and how the Hall is now equipped to provide a warm refuge during any extended power cuts.
