Mitford Village Hall

Welcome to the Mitford Village Hall website.

Our historic village has existed since the Anglo-Saxon era. Nestled in the beautiful surrounding countryside, Mitford has an impressive castle, a picturesque church and a local village pub.

The Hall isn’t quite as old as Mitford itself; in 1953, the village’s first television was installed to allow residents to watch HM Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. It was known fondly for decades as the ‘Television Hut’, thereafter.

Investment and refurbishment has been on-going for many years providing the community with a bright, large space suitable for a wide range of activities.
