Community Events
The hall is widely used as a venue for community events - such as jumble sales, leek shows, soup and pud events, etc.
Covid restrictions allowing, the hall is host to a wide range of activities - some regular, some occasional.
Activities include: Pilates, Yoga, Film shows, Table tennis, Young Farmers' Club meetings, Private parties, Wedding Celebrations, Wildlife workshops, Northumbrian Nights (compered by Ernie Coe) and the occasional Jumble sale. The hall usually hosts 2-3 performances/year from the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme programme. It also acts as a cycle race HQ during the summer.

The hall has recently installed a new screen, a very high spec projector and an improved sound system. Hartburn Community Project manages monthly showings from September through to March.
The Hall plays host to Highlights Rural Touring Productions three or four times a year. These high-quality performances are not to be missed. See our Events pages for information.
The hall is used as a venue for live performances (plays, concerts, live music, singing and dance).

Every Tuesday morning at 10.30am Sylvia Bierley teaches a small class (max 10) for one hour. All you need is comfortable clothing and a padded non-slip fitness mat. Cost £10/person

The hall provides an ideal space for parties and other private functions (the picture shows the hall decorated for a wedding).
We have table tennis every Tuesday evening in the 8 month period September to April. There is room for three tables. It's informal and made up of people of different abilities and ages. So why not come along to join us?
The hall is used for various workshops and classes - such as the Harp workshop shown in the photo and Wildlife workshops, amongst others.
