Matfen Village Hall is one large room with gents' and ladies' toilets off to the side and a small kitchen along the length of the hall with a large serving hatch.
The hall dates from 1863, when it was built as part of the village school. It still retains the original wooden floor and many other original features, including the wood-lined, vaulted ceiling.
The hall can be booked with or without the kitchen facilities, and has a capacity of 80 / 60 (seated) when conditions allow.
