Our facilities

The hall has been a venue for wedding receptions. It can seat about seventy people for a sit down meal. It would be necessary to organise catering but sufficient crockery and cutlery is available. Glasses would have to be hired.

The main hall is fitted with accoustic panels which give good sound quality. Cross the Wannies traditional music group play there regularly on the second and third Tuesday of the month.

The Northumberland Theatre Company bring one of their productions to the hall in the Autumn.

There are regular pilates and yoga classes

The building houses a full time Post Office and is always oopen during post office hours.

The Post Office is an Amazon hub and stocks newspapers and cards. Orders can be taken for milk, bread and green groceries which can be collected from the Post Office

There are second hand books and puzzles for sale.

At the side of the hall there is access to a public toilet which is open 24/7

Disability access is at the side door. This gives access to a disabled toilet. The main hall and the annex both have accoustic loops for the hard of hearing.

There is limited car parking at the front of the hall but plenty of parking space around the village

Internet is available as is a computer and printer for public use. There is also use of a copier

There is a large field behind the hall with football goalposts, a basket ball net and a good variety of children's play equipment

A mobile stage is available

The hall is liscensed for music performances

The kitchen (7.3m x 3m) is equiped with an oven and hob, fridges, water boilers, microwave, warming cabinet cutlery and crockery (dinner plates, tea plates, mugs, cup and saucers, pudding basins and serving dishes)
