Kirkwhelpington Memorial Hall was opened in 1924 having been built with public subscription to remember those lost in WW1. It lies in the centre of the beautiful village of Kirkwehelpington overlooking the village green. To celebrate the Millennium an extension was built to the hall providing an annex, new kitchen, new toilets and a disabled toilet with baby changing bench. This has made the hall a very versatile venue. The hall also houses a full time post office.
