North Tyne Voices is a community choir based in Humshaugh. Originally established by Kathryn Davidson in 2018, the Voices are currently under the musical direction of Miles Wallis-Clarke. Meeting on Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m., we learn a wide variety of music ranging from pop to Mozart with anything in between! Whenever we can, we like to perform and have sung in Hexham Abbey, the Sill, at the Bellingham Show and ‘on tour’ as part of the Native North Tyne festival. No previous experience of singing is required, there are no auditions and everyone is welcome to join whether they have sung before or not. So, even if you think you can't sing, come along and give it a try! First session is free. As well as learning more about singing, you will enjoy the company of others and generally have a fun time!
