The Crown Inn, our excellent local, is just up the road from the village hall. Because of Covid-19 restrictions it is currently closed but is serving excellent takeaway meals on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch.
Humshaugh and Wark surgery is nearby although this is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
St. Peter's is next door to the village hall, only a short walk from wedding to reception!
A mobile post office van calls every day and provides services from 1245 to 1430 hours Monday to Friday except in cases of illness, maintenance and/or poor weather conditions. All general post office services are provided including passport checking and bank deposits.
This is a Community Shop run by volunteers and stocking a wide range of goods. Opening hours are from 0730 - 1300 hours on weekdays and 0900 - 1200 on Sundays. Bank holiday opening times are 0900 - 1100 hours.
