The Whittington Parish Jubilee Tea Party took place on Sunday 5th June at Great Whittington Village Hall. There was a great turnout of adults and children from within and around the village. The weather was a bit on the cool side so only the hardy sat outside in our lovely garden to enjoy a drink and some cake from the extensive selection. inside the hall it was warmer, and we were able to live stream the Jubilee Pageant from London on our new audio-visual system. The children present were entertained by Elsa from Frozen, who bravely carried on with a variety of activities outside, although by the end of the party she looked in need of thawing out herself!
