The Parish council has received a letter from the NCC about the forthcoming review of the council’s response and resilience to storm Arwen. It also provided further details regarding compensation which may be of interest see below. As the village was without power for over 48 hours everyone is entitled to some compensation.
"The Council has received several queries regarding compensation due to loss of power during the storm. It is important that such claims are directed to Northern Powergrid. It has confirmed that it would like such claims to be made via the process established for Storm Arwen explained at their website: https://www.northernpowergrid.com/storm-arwen
