Prudhoe Parish Church is accepting donations for people now taking refuge in countries bordering Ukraine.
Items needed:
Camping beds and mattresses
Bedding: duvets, pillows, bed linen, blankets, towels
Non perishable foods: pasta, rice, oil, sugar, salt, coffee, tea, jam, nutella, pate, canned food, baby food, energy/snack bars
Toiletries: shampoo,toothpaste,toothbrushes, mouth wash, deodorant, ibruprofen, paracetamol, feminine hygiene projects, nappies
The church ask people not bring items not on the list - especially clothing.
Donations can be dropped off at Prudhoe Parish Church Hall everyday between 11am-12.
During the coffee morning on Thursday and Saturday, donations can also be received from 10-11am.
Donations can also be made at Boots in Stocksfield: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (Closed for lunch: 1-2pm) and Saturday 9.30am-4pm.
