The big green box which has stood empty in the front of the village hall has now been awakened. B4RN have arrived and the Village Hall was one of the first to be connected- 1Gb broadband, it’s a revelation! If you are near the Hall you can connect and use the WiFi for free, even from the road outside. Try it.
If you don’t have broadband at home but have an iPad or Smart Phone you can come to the Hall and connect. You could even make free video calls to family and friends. If you don’t have a iPad it may be possible to get one for free from the ‘National Device Bank’ (ask someone to look it up for you). If you aren’t sure how to do something go to ‘Learn My Way’ which has lots of videos showing how to use the internet. Barrasford Village Hall WiFi can also transform how the hall can be used.
We will be installing a Smart TV in the supper room, so: on-line exercise classes, films, entertainment at children’s parties, music, sports events, computer training, zoom meetings; all becomes possible.
