Our facilities

Small events can use just the Guyzance Room at the rear of the hall (with its own kitchen and toilet facilities) while larger events can use the main hall or main hall plus Guyzance Room. In the main hall there is a large projector screen that pulls down at the front of the stage area for presentations.

The main hall is a lovely light airy space for wedding receptions and the large garden can also be used (tents can be erected if desired). The hall can be hired (for exclusive use) for a number of days to allow for setting up and clearing away.  The kitchen allows for some food preparation, cooking and serving, and the hall has reasonable quality crockery and cutlery available for use. There is a hiring package available offering exclusive use of both rooms and garden from midday Friday to midday Sunday for £600.

The stage area and the area just in front of it can be used for plays and musical performances. The hall offers very good acoustics.

Both the Main Hall and the Guyzance Room are popular venues for exercise classes and dance classes of various kinds. The main hall has a full hardwood floor in natural wood, recently resanded and varnished.

The main entrance and the entrance to the Guyzance Room do not have any steps. There are 2 toilets suitable for disabled access.

There is a tarmac area at the front of the hall for approximately 8 cars and on-street parking adjacent to the hall.

There is a large fenced garden, laid to lawn, alongside the hall. The Guyzance Room and the hall side door give direct access to the garden.

The stage is at one end of the main hall. It is approximately Xm by Ym. It has a pull down large screen for showing films of videos. It can be accessed by steps leading to entrances on either side of the rear of the stage.

PRS licence for playing music at functions without paying extra royalties.

Alcohol licence for selling and consuming alcohol on the premises.

The hall has free WiFi (with good speeds) for the use of hirers.

There is a small but well-equipped kitchen between the Main Hall and the Guyzance Room which can be used when hiring either room for a function. It has a fridge, electric cooker, microwave, kettles, urn, ground coffee machine (Cona style) and 2 sinks. There are also plenty of saucepans, plates, glasses, cups and saucers, mugs and cutlery for the use of hirers.

The Guyzance Room also has its own kitchen corner with sink and kettle.

In a small room accessed from the main hall, there is a full height fridge freezer giving extra cold storage for drinks or food.
