Acklington Art Group
A vibrant and friendly amateur art group which meets every Thursday morning. They have a number of tutors throughout the year and a range of monthly motivational projects run by members of the group.
Acklington Village Hall is well supported by the local community and is home to the regular social events of the village church, St John the Divine. We also have Acklington Community Team (ACT) hosting concerts and events such as the very popular annual Hogmanay celebration. Other regular groups include the Women's Institute, the Acklington Art Group, Brownies, and a range of dance, fitness and yoga sessions.
The Village Hall Committee ensures the hall is accessible for all, and keeps the hall and gardens bright, clean and welcoming. With bulb planting and litter-picks, there is something to help everyone feel included and welcome.
None of this would be possible without all the wonderful local volunteers, using their skills and enthusiasm to create a great sense of community.

Acklington Women's Institute
A friendly group usually meeting on the second Tuesday each month. They enjoy talks and demonstrations from a wide range of interesting speakers. Visitors and New Members are welcome. You can visit the WI website here for more information.

Pilates
There are two friendly and supportive Pilates sessions held each Tuesday morning led by qualified local instructor Lesley Henderson. They run from 9.30-10.30am and 10.45-11.45am
St John's Church, Acklington
The local Anglican church of St John the Divine, located a stone's throw from the Village Hall, often holds fairs and events in the hall. You can find out more on their Facebook page.
World Fusion Dance
World Fusion Dance is a style inspired by the dances of the Middle East, North Africa, India and Spain. It is a fun and sociable way to get moving, excellent for physical and mental wellbeing. It is accessible for all levels of fitness, aimed at ‘Every Body’
