Could you spare a few hours to help your community? We are looking for potential trustees and volunteers who would like to become involved in running Stocksfield Community Centre.
Stocksfield Community Association, which runs Stocksfield Community Centre, currently has eight trustees and a number of volunteers. All play active roles in the life of the Centre, with varying levels of involvement. We would like to recruit two or three more trustees as well as others who would prefer to help as volunteers. If you have skills in finance, management, DIY, PR, IT, event management or social media we would particularly welcome your involvement - but would also welcome sociable people who simply like to help others.
Trustees are making a commitment to the role and would be expected to attend most of the monthly board meetings. Guidance and support will be given. Volunteers are not making the same level of commitment and would not attend board meetings. Occasional help at events or a more regular involvement would both be welcomed.
