We have a modern HD projector, large retractable screen, audio surround system, microphones, mobile broadband unit, hearing induction loop and comfortable chairs makes it an ideal venue for conferences. Our well equipped kitchen is also available for use or alternatively the Village Hall is conveniently located right next to the Village Store and Coffee Shop.
Ideal venue for small gigs (up to 60 people). The Hall has a music licence and a newly installed audio surround system and hearing induction loop. There is also 2 large speakers + mixing unit available for use.

We have a ramp for disabled access, and there is a disabled toilet next to the hall entrance.
There is an induction loop for the hard of hearing in the main hall.
We have the usual facilities of toilets, baby changing and a small kitchen.

We have good quality folding tables, both large and small, that can be arranged in different ways to accommodate different numbers of guests and different activities. 6 person trestle table x 13, 4 person tables x 13.
There is limited car parking outside the hall, and around the village green
Matfen village green is on the doorstep and is a large, open space with plenty of trees, benches, picnic tables and a children's play area.
Next to the hall is Matfen Store and Coffee Shop, a local shop and popular café.

The hall has an entertainments licence, which can be used at the discretion of the committee.
The hall has Alncom fast broadband unit available for use.
