The Main Hall is approximately 16.6m by 8.4m and has a high angled 6.9m ceiling for badminton. It is regularly used by various local groups and is also suitable for music performances, meetings, conferences, parties, weddings and coffee mornings. The Hall has LED lighting with full and half settings. It is accessed from the central corridor, has two fire escapes and there is access to the kitchen via a serving hatch. The room is fitted with a hearing loop system. There is also a coat hanging area off the central corridor.
For a seated theatre style layout with a speakers table, the Main Hall will accommodate about 130 people. There are plenty of tables of different sizes to suit meetings and parties in a variety of layouts.
