On the 4th May Greenhead Village Hall held a family fun day to commemorate the end of hostilities in World War 2.
We had a the last Post by the War Memorial, a beautiful display of memorabilia in the Hall, where we also served coffee, tea and cakes. Outside we had live Music from Dan Prins, a stop me and buy one ice cream trike, retro sweets stall and red white and blue stall.
On the Millenium Greeen we had 1940s Games, a fabulous Wartime Selfie Booth, Bunting making, guess the dolls name, and a treasure trail.
At 12pm we were joined by the dancers of Hannah Lucy Dance School who treated us to a lovely display of their craft and also the opportunity to partake in some aerial work!
Many thanks to all that helped us make this day a success!
