HEPPLE TABLE TENNIS

Hepple Village Hall has had a table tennis board for many years for the younger generation to play on during youth club sessions. As the younger generation have now grown up a few of the more mature residents of the village decided to continue playing after a newer board was donated.
Our present group was formed in 2016 and attracted a number of players across all age groups. On a couple of occasions we counted 15 enthusiasts in a session. This prompted us to purchase a second board to shorten the waiting time between games. Sadly, we have lost some of our young people to University, college and careers, but the oldies are still playing.
We have had friendly matches home and away with Elsdon Village Hall and have enjoyed these social events with superb suppers thrown in.
The Covid pandemic has prevented us from playing for the past 12months, but with the forthcoming easing of restrictions we would like to resume play hopefully from Tuesday 13th April. We meet every Tuesday evening from7-8.30pm. All abilities are most welcome.
