Parishioners may be interested in the zumba classes held at Matfen Village Hall on Thursday evenings at 6.30 - 7.30pm.
They are run by Clifton Thompson who used to run classes at Matfen Hall. He is an extremely experienced class leader.
The sessions are excellent value at £5, with no requirement to sign up for a course of sessions. They are great fun too, as well as being good for both physical and mental health.
The classes are appropriate for beginners as well as those with previous experience of zumba/other dance classes. A sense of rhythm is helpful, but a sense of fun is more important!
The hall is kept well-ventilated during the classes, with windows and doors open/ajar.
